Changing the font size

You are able to change the size of the font so the text is easier for you to read. This can be done in your web browser.

The 2 most commonly used web browsers can be changed by following these instructions:

Internet Explorer

  • 1. Click on the View menu.
  • 2. Select Text Size.
  • 3. Choose the size of text you would like.

Firefox

  • 1. Click on the View menu
  • 2. Select Zoom
  • 3. You can then zoom in or zoom out on the text to change the size

Changing the font style

You can alter the style of text that appears on your page so it’s easier to read.

The 2 most commonly used web browsers can be changed by following these instructions:

Internet Explorer

  • 1. Go to the Tools menu
  • 2. Select Internet Options
  • 3. Select Accessibility button
  • 4. Tick Ignore font styles specified on web pages
  • 5. Click OK
  • 6. Click Fonts button
  • 7. Select the font you wish to use
  • 8. Click OK
  • 9. Click OK again to close the Internet Options screen

Firefox

  • 1. Go to the Tools menu
  • 2. Select Options
  • 3. Make sure you are in the Content section
  • 4. Select the font you wish to use in Fonts & Colours
  • 5. Click on the Advanced button
  • 6. Untick the box that says Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above
  • 7. Click OK
  • 8. Click OK again to close the Options screen
